On June 29, Reenu was deported to Bangladesh. After Reenu arrived in Bangladesh, our social workers called her. Reenu shared that she crossed the border along with 150 others and spent three days walking through the thick jungles along the India-Bangladesh border, trying to find her way back home.

Every bail denied is a step towards justice. It protects survivors, strengthens their cases, and sends a clear message to traffickers that they cannot assume they will escape the consequences of their crimes.

On June 18 2026, we received information regarding Manila, Mora, and Prachi, who were rescued from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on August 4, 2023. The three victims had been trafficked from Bangladesh to India, where they were r@ped and exploited. At the time of their trafficking, Manila was only 15 years old. Mora and Prachi were in their 30s. Following their rescue, they were manhandled by the police.
