On June 23, the High Court rejected the bail of the accused who r@ped 17-year-old Koena (rescued January 17, 2023).

On the very same day, another accused who had sold Karima (rescued May 22, 2025) into prostitution also applied for bail. His bail was rejected too.

Every bail denied is a step towards justice. It protects survivors, strengthens their cases, and sends a clear message to traffickers that they cannot assume they will escape the consequences of their crimes.
