Justice Moves Forward

Sharing some good news today from our legal team’s continued efforts in pursuing justice for survivors: five bail applications were rejected by the honorable courts and two perpetrators were arrested in cases supported by Freedom Firm.

In Esmi’s case (rescued April 10, 2026), the Varanasi District and Sessions Court rejected the bail applications of the accused.

In Rumana’s case (rescued March 26, 2026), two accused who had been absconding since the time of the rescue were arrested on May 19, 2026.

In Iqra’s case (rescued March 17, 2026), the accused were denied bail by the district court on May 20, 2026.

In Neelu and Kaki’s case (rescued 2024), the accused’s bail was rejected after two long years.

These developments reflect the persistent efforts of our legal officers and advocates who continue to work diligently on every stage of the legal process. Our team remains committed to walking alongside each survivor as each case moves forward.
