Women's Day Celebration at Kanpur Shelter Home

Survivors participate in fun and games during the Women's Day celebration

On March 11, social worker Shalini visited a shelter home in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, to celebrate Women's Day.

Shalini opened the session with games and invited everyone to participate. Some girls were hesitant at first but joined in after they saw others enjoying themselves. After the games, Shalini hosted some fun activities. All the girls joyfully participated.

After the fun and games, Shalini talked to the group of girls and highlighted the value of being a woman. She encouraged the girls to build a life for themselves so that they could be independent and self-sustaining.

The girls listened attentively and felt encouraged. After the session, the girls enjoyed some treats and juice.
