Two Girls Rescued in Nanded Maharashtra

On October 7, 2026, our Freedom Firm team received intel about a minor being sexually exploited in Nanded, Maharashtra. It took our team some time to gather additional information, and on October 12, we travelled to Nanded.
After verifying the lead the following day, our team visited the police station to meet the Superintendent of Police, SP. The SP was not present, and our team was asked to return the next day.
On October 15, our team met the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) and gave him an overview of Freedom Firm. He directed us to the Rameshwar City Police Station SP. After examining our information, the Rameshwar City Police Station SP assigned a team for the rescue.
While the police and our team prepared for the operation, our team received a call saying the minor was not at the location and would only be available the next day. On October 16, the police and our team met to plan the rescue and discuss strategies, then headed to the location.
A couple was running the brothel out of their own home in a residential neighbourhood. The brothel was a crude house made of tin sheets, with a small living room, a bedroom, and a large kitchen. The victims were being sexually exploited in the bedroom.
When our team arrived, they learned that the minor was not at the brothel. While preparing to carry out the raid, one of our team members spotted the victim outside. They followed her and rescued her. The police and our team then raided the brothel and rescued another victim who was over 18 years old.
The minor shared that her aunt sent her to the couple's house to attend to customers. The minor’s aunt was not present at the scene. The police arrested the couple who was running the brothel and escorted the victims to the police station. We later discovered that the couple was the minor victims’ parents.
Everyone arrived at the police station at 4:00 p.m., and the police interviewed the survivors and interrogated the accused. They recorded the survivors' statements. The survivors were also taken to a nearby hospital for their medical examinations.
After all the legal procedures were complete, the police registered the First Information Report at 2:00 a.m. on October 17. The police and our team then escorted the survivors to different shelter homes: the minor was placed in a children's home, and the adult victim in a protective home for women.
