Roshni* is the first girl to come to Pune from Bangladesh to testify in the case against her brothel keeper and trafficker. The process to get Roshni to come to Pune took more than a year of effort by Freedom Firm and Rights Jessore, a partner organization in Bangladesh. In order to travel to India, Roshni needed a passport and visa, which involved a lot of paperwork. Roshni testified brilliantly in court in September 2011 and she returned to Bangladesh more confident and healed.
