On September 23, social worker Shalini went for a follow-up visit with Rohana (rescued on September 27, 2025 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh). 

Shalini shared that Rohana was unable to enroll in school because she is still waiting to receive proof of her identity proof.

Shalini suggested Rohana explore school options from home, and Rohana agreed. Rohana’s admission process will start shortly.

Rohana has made significant progress since Shalini last visited her. 

Previously, Rohana was going to sleep late, and waking up late. This messed up her daytime routine, and made her feel unmotivated to anything productive during the day.

But during this visit, Rohana told Shalini that she now goes to bed early, wakes up early, and is making an effort to return to a routine. 

We are happy to see this change in Rohana, and we hope she continues in this discipline!
