On June 3, social worker Shalini met Rashida (rescued April 18, 2026, from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh) for a follow-up visit.
Rashida happily skipped over to meet Shalini at the shelter home office. She was all smiles and giggles as she shared about her new routine and friends. She said she enjoys eating, studying, and "most importantly," playing with her friends.

Rashida is also attending classes in the shelter home. She proudly showed Shalini her notebook, filled with alphabet and number writing practice, and promised that she would have even more to show her at their next visit.
Rashida mentioned that she misses her older sister, Esmi (rescued April 10), and she hopes they can be near each other soon.
We are so glad to see Rashida settling well into the shelter home, making friends, and eager to study.
