In December 2025, we received intel about a minor girl being exploited in a brothel in Bagakheda. Since Bagakheda is a known hub for prostitution, we proceeded to Bagakheda to verify the lead.
Although we were unable to locate the victim, we continued to investigate Bagakheda and other deras (villages) in search of the minor.
On March 10, 2026, we learned that the minor was spotted again in Bagakheda. After we verified she was the same victim we had been tracking, we proceeded to meet the local police to plan a rescue operation. On March 11, we met a senior police inspector who agreed to initiate a raid the next day.

On March 12, our team and the police team, along with the Deputy Superintendent proceeded to rescue the minor. We reached the location at 2:50 p.m.
At 3:15 pm, the police and our team raided the brothel. The brothel was one of 40–50 brothels scattered throughout Bagakheda. This particular brothel consisted of three rooms and resembled a small, two-bedroom house. The first room we entered was empty. We found the victim, Kaviya, in the second room, trying to escape via a back door. The police rescued her. The brothel keeper was absent during the raid. When we asked Kaviya about her parents, we learned that her mother was her brothel keeper and a notorious brothel keeper in the area. The police found and arrested Kaviya's mother, who was collecting money in another brothel.
Kaviya and the accused were taken to the police station. At 9:45 p.m., the police completed writing the First Information Report (FIR). We accompanied Kaviya to a hospital for her basic medical exams and then to a shelter home in Ratlam, where she was placed for her safety and protection.
