Congratulations, Rahila!

Rahila (rescued in September 2023 from Kolkata) got married a few days ago! Social worker Shelly visited Rahila and her new husband in their home. Rahila's family was with them, and they warmly welcomed Shelly. Rahila spoke fondly about her wedding ceremony. Her mother had lovingly gifted her some bridal jewelry for as a blessing.

Rahila told Shelly that she had confided in her husband about her part. This did not change his feelings for her, and he still wanted to spend his life with her. Rahila is so grateful to have met someone to share life with. Rahila’s husband works at the Kolkata Port, and his daily 8-hour shift provides for their needs.

We are overjoyed for Rahila and wish this lovely couple a lifetime of happiness!
