Carulata was rescued 15 years ago on February 14th, 2007. This week, our social workers visited her and her family. To surprise her on Valentine’s Day, Carulata’s husband decorated their home with balloons and pictures of their sweet memories together. When Carulata got home after work, she felt too sick to celebrate. Her husband quickly started caring for her, using a wet cloth on her forehead to bring down the fever.
Although Carulata was sick, she also had a Valentine's gift for her husband — a brand new helmet for his work delivering food.
What a thoughtful couple! We are so grateful Carulata is happily married to this kind man.
