Courts and COVID

After a year and a half of COVID delays and reduced court functions, the situation is improving! Judges are dealing with cases more quickly and some cases may be expedited. Sneha (rescued on August 22nd, 2019) wrote a ten page statement describing the physical abuse she and four other girls endured from seven suspects. She submitted the statement on November 21, 2021 and the judge is now addressing the case. One more officer needs to testify and then the judge will give a verdict. We hope this case leads to a conviction!
